So thursday we had marching band practice like any other night, but it was supposed to rain so we tried to get as much as we could done before the football game the next day. Not too long before it started raining, a rainbow appeared! It formed right over the school and it was the first time I had ever seen both end of a rainbow. It was truly awesome and even my drum instructor was like "That'd make a great picture."

I really wish I had my camera, but it's not like I couldn't have taken a picture anyway cause we were kinda in the middle of practice. : (

Well, then the rainbow went away and it started raining. I was like WTF? when our instructors kept us outside for another HOUR AND A HALF to practice drill in the rain. So that was fun. Then I had to dry off the new $6,000 for another 45 min after we finally went inside.

Then friday came and it was absolute crap. It was pouring all day and all the other sport events were candled except football. So we sat though the first half of the game in the rain. Fun. We left after halftime because we were only gonna play halftime if the rain let up, which it didn't (thank god. I wanted to GTFO of there) And again, me and 2 other senior drummers were the very last to leave cause we had to dry everything off, and our freshman don't get the concept of properly drying off a drum.

And now I think I'm getting a cold. Way to go band, way to go.
